SCH students have been anticipating a new bagel shop opening up in Chestnut Hill: Kismet Bagels. Kismet bagels announced they were moving to the long-time vacant space, which housed Rollers Express. 

Recently it was announced that the Rollers Express space fell through and Kismet Bagels was no longer moving in, leaving SCH students disappointed. “I was excited, but now very disappointed. I looked forward to going there for a good breakfast sandwich. It was perfect only being minutes from school.” says Senior Jake Warren. 

Students still may be in luck. Co-Founder of Kismet Bagels Alexandra Cohen said “We are going to do whatever we can to make a home for Kismet Bagels in Chestnut Hill by the end of 2025.” She also adds “We are already in conversations with a few new landlords for potential spaces.”

Other Kismet bagel locations feature a wide variety of bagel sandwiches and trendy coffee beverages.

Only time will tell if Kismet Bagels will ever feature a Chestnut Hill location.
