“My favorite basketball memory is playing for my Catholic church’s team with all of my good friends growing up. You start playing in fourth grade, and it was our eighth-grade year, so it’s the last time you’re able to play on the team. We ended up winning the Archdiocesan Championship and were able to go on a state trip to Harrisburg. It’s my favorite memory because we were able to hang out, stay in the hotel, and take a team bus to the game together. It made us feel like we were older, the older kids, and it was a great feeling as an eighth grader. It’s something I’ll never forget.”
