Iron Hill Brewery closed all stores after financial problems on September 24, 2025. 

The once-neighborhood spot is gone, taking away a great place to watch a game and eat good food. The closure has also taken jobs away from people in the community. 

At first, Iron Hill closed a few locations, including Chestnut Hill, on September 10, 2025. Then on September 24, Iron Hill decided to close all locations across five states, including Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Georgia, and South Carolina filing for bankruptcy. When they closed, Iron Hill sent out a message, saying, “We sincerely hope to return in the future, and when we do, we promise to welcome you with open arms.”  

The once-thriving brewery, which has expanded over its 13 years in business. A representative  from Chesnut Hill Business Association remains optimistic about a new tenant taking over the vacated spot. 

Iron Hill hopes to be back, but until then, Chestnut Hill hopes to bring another tenant who will provide service to the community.
