Just before 3 PM yesterday, a valve burst in the English hallway boys bathroom, causing a problematic leak resulting in a drenched chapel. In a meeting with Mrs. Telemaque, Dr. Dinkins heard what sounded like rain, but from inside. Dinkins recalled the events as follows: “We walked down the steps into the chapel, and lo and behold, it was a downpour. It had everything to do with the upstairs boys bathroom.” Immediately after the realization, the maintenance team was contacted and called to the scene. Fortunately, repairs were made before further damage was done. As far as administrators can tell, there was no “nefarious activity” involved with this situation.
A special thanks to our incredible maintenance team who were able to quickly put a stop to this mechanical failure before it got worse.

I was in the SRC when students told me of the flooding. I tiptoed into the bathroom and turned off a urinal that had been jammed in the “on” position. -Mr Bergmann
