“To be honest, as a college counselor, I don’t have much to do over Thanksgiving break because I’ve already written all of my letters of recommendation for my students. And a lot of my students have already applied to many of their colleges, so I think I will not have to do too much over Thanksgiving break. After Thanksgiving break, I think students will be working on their regular decision application essays, and at that point, I will probably have to read some more essays and give some feedback. I’m also the Upper School diversity coordinator, and yeah, that part of my job never stops. We’re preparing for our big regional diversity conference right now.”
