On Saturday Dec. 7 girls varsity basketball won their third game of the season against Lawrenceville 61- 49! The varsity team is ecstatic for their first win of the season. 

The leading scorer was junior player Florence Ajunwa “Flo,” who scored a total of 21 points throughout the game.  Flo said, “I’m proud of how our girls played, there’s always room for improvement but overall it was a great game.” 

Later on Monday, Dec. 10 the JV girls played against Lawrenceville. They sealed their win early on, winning by 35 – 9. Lawrenceville’s team was significantly larger than ours – SCH had only 8 players – regardless, the JV girls team brought home the win. 

Freshman swing player Katherine Thomson “Kit” said, “It was a really good team win, and we are really improving.” It was an entertaining game to watch, as it was clear the JV team was having lots of fun on the court!
