“I mean art is, you know, it’s a broad label, … it leaves me free to do kind of whatever, like, I don’t really have to confine myself to one specific thing, because I’m just doing what I want to do. I’m doing what I like doing; I’m doing what I’m, you know, good at doing, and things that I understand. And that’s kind of why it’s so hard to, you know, talk about it, or find something to talk about, because it’s all just your own kind of understanding, like before there’s an audience to anything, because the main goal in the end, ultimately is to get an audience for the stuff you want to do. But you know, it’s, it’s so hard to be able to really hone in on what you want to think about because you just think about all of it all the time, and you think about new things all the time. Your mind is constantly kind of, like, running and making new things and envisioning new worlds, new characters, new ideas, new storylines. It goes like way farther beyond that of just, you know, my drawings because that’s what I normally do. You know, I really love music, I love film. It’s just that I feel like art is just an appreciation for creativity.- Tristan Ferraro ’26
