A question came about across the SCH Senior Class of 2025… “Why don’t we have a senior class trip?” Co-Student Body Presidents and fellow seniors, Matthew McTamney and Taylor Foley, brought this question to the Student Leadership Team (SLT), a group of all the class presidents and teachers. During this meeting, a proposal for a class snow tubing trip at Blue Mountain was brought about. This trip is taking place on February 14th, Valentine’s Day, which was a little controversial due to it being a day off.
In recent years the Senior Class of SCH did not have any kind of trip planned out for the up-and-coming graduates. Matthew McTamney and Taylor Foley knew that had to change. McTamney said, “We talked to SLT, then after mentioned it to Mr. Bell who said he would think of some ideas.” Senior Class Dean Marshall Bell proposed the idea of a snow rubing trip to Blue Mountain. Foley and McTamney asked if people would like this idea. McTamney stated that “everyone was super excited for there to be a trip this year and wanted it to pull through.” So, that’s exactly what happened, Friday, February 14th the SCH Senior Class will be taking a bus ride up to Blue Mountain to enjoy some snow tubing on the slopes.
