Brandon Graham returned to the Eagles on October 21, 2025, seven months after retiring from the game of football.
The fans of Philadelphia look forward to his presence back on and off the field.
The possibility of him returning came up after edge rusher Za’Darius Smith, who signed in week one, retired on October 13th. Once Za’Darius retired, it was only right, Graham said, “I knew I wasn’t all the way done. When Za’Darius retired, it just felt like it was the perfect thing to do. Let’s go do this thing again. That’s how I feel, it’s like we got an opportunity again and [I] just wanna be able to go to war with my brothers every week.”
Graham was able to end last season with the Lombardi Trophy and confetti pouring down on him, making him one of four players to be a part of both Eagles’ Super Bowl-winning teams, making it a perfect ending. Head Coach Nick Sirianni chose to sit Graham for Giants week, but he should be ready to go after their bye week on Monday Night Football against the Packers on November 10th.
Sadiek Willis ‘26 said about Graham, “He’s also really loved by his team and community, and that’s something I try to emulate. I think BG will produce some on the field, but at this stage in his career, his biggest contribution will be his leadership and the energy he brings to this Eagles team. He’s a winner and a champion who loves the team, and that’s very beneficial.
Brandon Graham will not only bring his leadership skills, but also his trash-talk game, firing up the opponent.
