DEI Council and Facilitators brought back SCH’s infamous Haunted House! The haunted house was a great way for member of the community to connect, and now, it’s back and better than ever!
For several years, Student Council and DEI Council had hoped to revive the haunted house, which had last been produced in 2019. Students and families had been missing a key element of their Halloween fun when the haunted house was taken away.
However, with an amazing triumph by Tristyn Howard ’27, a junior class representative and head of DEI Council, she managed to bring this amazing tradition back to SCH.
Howard said, “The process to bring back the haunted house was fun but tedious. It took a lot of time to put together the working parts; like gathering actors and scenery behind the scenes. We also spoke to numerous people to ensure the Haunted House could run as it had in the past, including past witnesses, administration, and a professional haunted house coordinator.”
The turnout of this event was absolutely incredible, and held 300+ people. The haunted house ran from 3-6pm. And by the end, they doubled their profits and got to connect with so many members of the SCH community.
Both DEI Council, and Facilitators would love to help make this event annual, but they need help and time. Members of DEI Council and Facilitators put countless hours into making this event memorable for everyone, and they sure delivered!
In the end, SCH hosted a phenomenal Haunted House. But, the question still remains for many; is SCH really haunted?
