Ping pong returns to the junior commons

The new ping pong table is in the junior commons!

When the 2023 school year began, the class of 2025 couldn’t wait to fully inherit the ping pong table in the junior commons on the third floor of the inn. When they showed up, however, the ping table was missing, moved to the senior commons! Junior advisories were furious. Last spring saw heated matches between junior advisories for bragging rights, but without a ping pong table, there was nothing.

Now, as of early December, ping pong has returned to the junior commons, along with plans for further renovations.

“We are so thankful for the anonymous junior family who donated the new ping pong table,” said Matt McTamney, junior class president. McTamney also plans to add lights and a foosball table to the space.

The juniors are all set to celebrate the “reopening” of their commons on Thursday, December 14th – right before winter break – with free hot chocolate for the class of 2025 during clubs/activities period!
