“It’s a blessing number one, just to be back at the place that I went to school, and I was an athlete. I went through all the same things that these kids are going through today. I walked down, you know, the same hall. So it’s a blessing to be able to share that kind of bond with the kids today. On top of that, my dad did this job for close to 30 years, and I watched it throughout my whole childhood. It was a big passion in his life to give, recruit athletes, and get them into this school, offering them opportunities for Inter-Ac education. I followed those same footsteps. It’s really cool to be here doing that and extending on his legacy, and then just coaching football and wrestling, it’s a dream, right? Who doesn’t want to get paid to just come in, and that’s your job. It’s a really cool experience.”
