Everything You Need to Know About The College Football Playoff Championship

The College Football National Championship game is set for Monday, January 19, between Indiana and Miami.

The twelve team playoff was introduced just last year, with four teams who got a bye. They play one less game than the other teams. The other eight teams play before them, and the four winners play the four bye teams, and it keeps going until the final.

This year, the Indiana Hoosiers are the number one seed in the tournament, who have beaten Alabama and Oregon. Miami, the ten seed, has taken down Texas A&M, Ohio State, and Ole Miss.

There have been many great football players to win this tournament in the past. Some players from a while ago are Joe Montana and Tim Tebow, while some newer names are Trevor Lawrence and Joe Burrow. The winning team will be cemented into the college football history books as champions.

Indiana are heavy favorites, but Miami has been the surprise of the tournament, with multiple upset wins. We will see who will lift the National Championship Trophy on January 19.
