“Work that has felt meaningful to me is my CEL capstone project that I started in 10th grade, called the Sweet Dream Project. It’s a non-profit that decorates pediatric patients’ hospital rooms and helps them feel joy and comfort so they can have sweet dreams at night. And ever since I created that in 10th grade, I’ve continued it and it makes me feel really good to make an impact for children. My favorite memory from my project is just having people in the SCH community help me pack bags for children and then delivering them myself, because it makes me feel really fulfilled in what I actually do.” — Ayana Banks ’26
