“I was like, school’s not gonna close Monday, we’re getting a two hour delay, and don’t tell my parents, but I did stay up unreasonably late. So it was, 2 AM and I’m looking out, like, yep, nothing. I go to bed, I wake up four hours later at six, and I’m like, ‘Ooh, snow.’ Then I go back to bed for another four hours, and I wake up around at 10 o’clock, and I’m like, that’s a lot of snow, and we had one of our family friends come over. Because she’s pretty old she has some issues with her neck that cause problems with her driving and whatnot. She came over and hung out with us for the entire weekend, just so that she wasn’t alone, and she was like, ‘this is the best resort ever’ because I was making cinnamon rolls over the weekend, and she had a very nice time with my mom and watching the episodes of this show, The Sandman.”
