“Personally, I really enjoy field hockey because I love the energy it gives me and having that opportunity that our school offers, I know many schools don’t. I play center defense, and I got my concussion there, which is fun, but personally, well, I started playing it because my mom played it in high school and college, so she wanted me to play it. I didn’t want to, but I didn’t really have a choice, and I ended up really liking it. And now I’ve realized that I’ve progressed so much in that sport from when I first picked up a few hockey stick, and I want to continue it throughout through high school. Probably won’t play in college, but that’s okay, but I feel like on the field hockey team, I haven’t just found like a love for sports, but I’ve also made so many great friendships where my team feels like a family.”
