Players prepare Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare

Players+prepare+Twelfth+Night+by+William+Shakespeare

SCH Players presents a modern adaptation of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night for their fall production! New Players Director Dave Snyder has chosen this comedic romance to be performed on November 16th-18th 2023. There will be a total of four shows taking place in the Rec Performing Arts Center on 599 W Springfield Ave, Philadelphia PA 19118.

The play is about twins, Viola and Sebastian, who were separated due to a shipwreck. A convoluted love triangle emerges when Viola disguises herself as a man called Cesario and becomes the Duke’s messenger to make Olivia fall in love with him; however, Olivia falls in love with Cesario instead, and Cesario (Viola) falls in love with Duke Orsino. When Sebastian comes back, people notice he looks very similar to Cesario, which could cause Viola to be revealed.

Find out what happens to Viola by seeing the show! Tickets will be available mid-November.
