Greenland is an island in the North Atlantic Ocean, rich in natural resources, such as oil and minerals. The main reason Trump wants Greenland is due to those natural resources.
Before the event, President Trump threatened to put tariffs on Greenland. At Davos however, Trump decided to take back his threat.
Before the Davos event, the stock market was volatile, but once President Trump revoked his statement on the tariffs, the stock market went up.
